NATCHEZ - Elevance Renewable Sciences recently donated two complete self contained breathing units to the Workforce Education Center at Copiah-Lincoln Community College. These training units will be used in OSHA safety classes such as confined space and respiratory protection training for Elevance and other district industries.

The Natchez biorefinery will use canola or soybean oil to produce olefins and oleochemicals to be used in detergents, cleaners, lubricants, additives, personal care products among other products. As the refinery expands it will create approximately 300 construction jobs and bring 165 permanent jobs to Adams County.
